Tomato Kasundi

$13.00

What IS tomato kasundi? (How existential, it might be asking itself the same question.) Kasundi has its roots in Bengali cuisine, and was originally a wasabi-like, fermented mustard and dried mango sauce. It’s since evolved into a rich, spiced tomato sauce that has found its way into more Western cuisine, and now, it has managed to catch a first class flight into the Hatcher Baker kitchen. Woohoo.

It will: work deliciously spread in your sandwiches, alongside your egg breakfast fry-up, plonked on a curry, dipped on a toastie, and more. It won’t: stay up til 4am singing karaoke (phew). Comes in a 300g jar.

This is a seasonal special following on from a wonderful tomato season, so get in quick as we only have limited numbers. (More pics coming soon!)
